Book Review #82- Page by Paige by Laura Lee Gulledge

Rate from 1-10:  10

Reason:  This book was a graphic novel and most graphic novels are usually Japanese (well at least at my library). The pictures were so different, meaning that they had a lot of meaning into them. Looking at the pictures and reading what the characters were saying was making the story even real. The storyline in which most of the pictures are based on Paige’s sketchbook, the journey to change parts of herself she didn’t like, and making new friends in a new city, New York (she moved to New York)

Summary:  Paige Turner has just moved to New York with her family, and she’s having some trouble adjusting to the big city. In the pages of her sketchbook, she tries to make sense of her new life, including trying out her secret identity: artist. As she makes friends and starts to explore the city, she slowly brings her secret identity out into the open, a process that is equal parts terrifying and rewarding.(GoodReads)
